Kids can choose from two ranges of bike made specifically for children. The first are for little ones that have never ridden before and are looking for their first bike. For kids with a bit more experience there is a range of Giant bikes designed for fun and transport.

First Bike
There are three bikes for first time riders. Safety and fun are combined in the L’il Giant which is a tricycle in loads of colours. The training wheels help with balance and there is also a long pole that parents can hold onto to stop the bike from running away with your little one on it. For little girls there is the PUDD’N range which has two bikes for different levels. On the regular sized bike there are removable training wheels, 16” wheels and an adorable basket. The junior version has smaller wheels at 12” and stabilisers. The last model in its first time rider range is Animator. Animator is like the PUDD’N range but in more boyish colours and no basket. Again, the Animator bike comes in a Junior and original size to accommodate children of all ages.

Sport Bikes
Once a child has gained more experience on their bike they can move onto the range for older children which consists of the MTX and taffy range. The MTX comes in a 125 and 225 series with the 125 having 20” wheels and 6 speed gears. 24” wheels and 18 speed gears are used on the 225. Both bikes have an Alux aluminium technology frame and suspension fork. Taffy is the female version of the MTX bike. The 125 has smaller wheels and fewer gears than the 225.

Giant make some of the best bikes on the market and the quality that they put into every design is reflected in the quality of your performance. Your child will enjoy riding their bike and you will be happy that it is keeping them fit.

There is a massive range of mountain bikes on the market to satisfy the large number of fans that the sport has. Depending on what type of riding you like, the style of bikes you can choose from will vary. To help you choosing between the varying bikes on the market, this article contains some handy information. %LINK1& is a great way of paying for your new ride, and the best retailers offer a number of finance plans.

1. Cross country
Almost all mountain bikes will fit into this category. Because they are light weight, cross country bikes can go over rough terrain and up and down steep slopes. This is the most common mountain bike and it can be used with ease for riding on the path or even commuting.

2. Downhill
Downhill bikes are for serious riders who enjoy the most extreme aspects of the sport. most bikes of this kind have dual suspension, disc brakes and strong parts. It is common for bikers to customise their own downhill bikes.

3. Trials
Trail biking is for the more technical riders as they have to move through a precise trail. Again, riders tend to build them from scratch instead of buying these bikes off the shelf. You need discipline to ride a trail bike properly as they are strong and light but need to be moved round tight courses.
